Amazon Flooded Forest
Every 6 months, torrential rains sweep across the Amazon, causing rivers to overflow and flood the rainforest. This  phenomenon creates and aquatic wonderland abundant with food for fishes and river mammals to feast on. Experience the flooded forest and meet its inhabitants like the graceful manatee and the majestic arapaima - living in peaceful co-existence in the world's largest freshwater aquarium. Also, witness the giant river otter, seen for the first time in Asia, from an underwater tunnel. For an added bite, come face-to-face with the fearsome red-bellied piranhas!


Mississippi River
Start our journey at this river habitat with nature's greatest architect, the beaver. View a cross-section of its lodge that's built underground and underwater!Get acquainted with its unusual-looking neighbours like the spatula-snouted Mississippi paddlefish. And the toothy alligator gar, a prehistoric-looking fish that can survive on land for hours!

Mekong River
Simulating the deep waters of Southest Asia's longest river, this 3-metre freshwater gallery houses the elusive and endangered river giants. Meet the Mekong giant catfish and the largest freshwater fish in the world, the giant freshwater stingray - a fish so mighty, it's know to have pulled small wooden boats down the Mekong!

Ganges River
Observe the most endangered crocodilian species of the Ganges river - the Indian gharial - basking against a backdrop inspired by the great temples of India. Look out for the goonch catfish, a carnivorous fish with a reputation as a man-eater!

Congo River
Be dazzled by schools of shimmering, rainbowhued fishes, such as the Congo tetra, kribensis and jewel cichlid. And don't miss the giant freshwater pufferfish that 'puffs up' to avoid fitting into its predator's mouth!

River Nile
This amazing river is brimming with creatures, both spectacular and savage. Don't miss the fearsome tigerfish that preys on smaller fishes with its razor-sharp teeth.

Yangtze River
Catch sight of endangered species from China's longest river, like the Chinese rarely seen. Be intrigued by the giant Chinese salamander, the largest amphibian in the world.

Amazon River Quest
Embark on a jourey through the winding rivers of the Amazon jungle. Meet close to 30 animals species, such as the Brazilian tapir, capybara and the magnificent giant anteater, grazing along the banks. Highlights of this ride include entering the cave of the prowling jaguar and an aviary that houses the brightly-coloured scarlet ibis, iguana and many more!

Giant Panda Forest
It's 'panda-monium' with Kai Kai and Jia Jia at Southest Asia's largest giant panda exhibit! Kai Kai is laidback, loves apples and taking forty winks. The playful but shy Jia Jia prefers carrots and climbing trees, Don't miss the other forest inhabitants, the red panda and golden pheasant.
